Now in its fifth decade of running, the Nike Classic Cortez Discount is an iconic design that deserves new colorways to maintain its legend status.  It’s clear with these two new pairs that the Cortez was made to shine with simple designs, and these three-colored pairs are right in step with what’s hot right now.  Choose from a Chicago Bears mix of navy and orange or a subtler pair in tonal greys, both of which feature white accents on the tongue, sockliner and sole.

Today marks the release of the Nike Classic Cortez Womens “Aloha Pack”, a floral quartet of sneakers that dole out a rare graphic treatment for this timeless Nike runner. The floral thing has been pretty present across Nike Sportswear’s catalog as a whole over the past couple of years thanks to the ongoing Liberty series of collaborations but make no mistake-this one is all Swoosh designed.

Even if you don’t own a pair of the Nike Classic Cortez Mens, you already recognize the shoe as one of the originals that build the Nike foundation. The Cortez dates back to the 70’s (you might remember Forrest Gump beating his pair to the ground – the same pair given to him by Jenny), but this 1988 reissue features a colorway that drew inspiration from another big Nike release of that year – the Air Jordan III. Here’s a look at this rare Nike Classic Cortez Cheap UK in black leather, featuring elephant print on the swoosh and heel-tab. The midsole features a grey stripe on the rear heel and red print on the Nike branding on the tongue.

What would Forrest Gump have to say about the Nike Classic Cortez Sale? NikeLab just unveiled a slightly altered version of this pop-culture packed Nike running shoe featuring a “Big Tooth” herringbone outsole and a mini Swoosh embroidered on the forefoot of the shoe. We first showed you a similar rendition of the Cortez several months ago with a corduroy heel and fully-embroidered swoosh, but the only identical feature is indeed the smaller logo that Nike has used sparingly over the years.
