Middlesbrough – Chelsea

Antonio Conte has truly found his sweet spot as he’s found the right pieces to fit his 3-4-3 formation. Today Conte’s men travel to Middlesbrough, who are clear underdogs at home, despite giving Arsenal and Manchester City runs for their money in two away games.

It’s by no means easy pickings today for Chelsea, as Middlesbrough has picked up five points in their last three games despite going against the two mentioned above and winning 2-0 at home against Bournemouth. Middlesbrough have defended well, and despite having maybe the toughest schedule to begin the season, they have only conceded 12 goals in 11 games.

Conte’s Chelsea are humming, though, as evidenced in a 5-0 trouncing at Stamford Bridge against Everton before the international break. Eden Hazard has been a sight for sore eyes, and has been absolutely unplayable in several games this season. He’s back to his level he showed in his 2014-15 MVP campaign.

Chelsea’s back-three is also in line for a boost, as Kurt Zouma is likely to be fit for Sunday. Conte might still opt to go with his winning combination, though, which hasn’t conceded a goal in the Premiership since 24th of September at the Emirates.

Middlesbrough – Chelsea prediction

Chelsea are riding a six-game win streak, but we envision Middlesbrough keeping things tight, with Aitor Karanka’s men lining up in a defensive 4-1-4-1 formation. Chelsea might eke this out, but the best bet today is under 2.5 goals. For the under, we’ll get the best odds from [urlhttps://betbubbles.com/]betbubbles.com[/url] @ 9/10.
